The nut is a special flange lock nut used to secure the plastic radiator fan shrouds to the radiator mounting studs. They sport the original cadmium finish.
Use 5 nuts on 1966-69 B-Body 26" radiators, use 6 nuts 66-69 C-Body 26 inch radiators and 4 nuts on 1969 22" radiators.
